The etiology for thumb CMC osteoarthritis remains elusive and its treatment controversial. During this program, 6 hand surgeons will present 5-minute briefs that explore discovery and innovation of CMC function and anatomy, hormonal influence on arthritis, and surgical perspectives. Each speaker will respond to one question posed by the subsequent speaker that summarizes the bullet topic. A round robin wish list for an idealized surgical procedure will close the symposium.
