Description
The practice of medicine is a combination of art and science. We do not have scientific answers for many conditions, so we must rely on the art of medicine. Experience, the art of medicine, takes many years to obtain, so until then you use science to help guide decisions. The purpose of EBM is to clarify the science component to ensure the best prediction of outcomes - not to replace the art of medicine. This symposium will present a series of case scenarios and demonstrate how evidence can be used to guide treatment.
